Professor Geoff Dougherty co-ordinates the Applied Physics and Medical Imaging programs at CSUCI, where he teaches Medical Imaging, Image Processing and Pattern Recognition. His new textbook "Digital Image Processing for Medical Applications" will be published in early 2009 (http://www.cambridge.org/us/catalogue/catalogue.asp?isbn=9780521860857).
He has previously held academic positions in Kuwait, England, Australia, Fiji, Malaysia and Switzerland.
